In short

  • Every signal on Sources says in one line what's wrong, if anything. Start there.
  • A title miss wants a wider buyer; a headline miss wants a sharper signal. Activity tells you which.
  • Volume is paced to protect your account and can't be raised, so the fix is who you target, not how much you send.

01Too few leads

Open Agent, then Sources, and read each signal's line:

  • "None held a title you asked for": press Widen the buyer. Add the other spellings of your job roles, add industries (three or more keep the volume up), or choose Broader under How strict.
  • "Quiet, not broken": the signal ran and found nobody new. Add another signal like your best one, up to 15.
  • "Paused after eight runs that found nobody": replace it with a different keyword, competitor or expert.
  • "Small pool, and most of it fits your buyer": worth adding another signal like it, or another customer to look like.

Also try: Smart lead finder at the bottom of Edit signals, Run now on a signal instead of waiting for its turn, and Ask for companies in one sentence. If you have your own list, import LinkedIn profile addresses or a CSV in Contacts and give it to an agent: it reads each person and keeps the ones who fit.

02The wrong people

Open Agent, then Activity. The card Why N were dropped ranks every reason people didn't match. A title miss wants a wider buyer; a headline miss wants a sharper signal. They are different problems.

If the leads you get are off:

  • On Leads, press Fewer like this on the wrong ones and More like this on the right ones. It takes effect on the next scan.
  • In Edit buyer, add Words or companies to avoid, or go back to Best matches only.
  • A wide audience with a thin match is a signal problem: "A sharper signal would help more than a wider buyer."

03Leads, but few replies

  • Check the brief from Setup: every message starts from it. A wrong pain point makes every message miss.
  • Read the messages before they go, in Copilot, and edit the ones that read wrong. Turn on review mode if you want to see each one.
  • On Campaign, look at each step's preview for a real lead. Try Written by AI on a step that's a template, or the other way round.
  • Under each signal on Sources, once people it found have been contacted, you'll see how many replied. Keep the signals that start conversations.

04Why it doesn't just send more

A new LinkedIn account starts at 35 invitations a week and climbs to 125 as it earns it, never more than 25 in a day. The limits are enforced in code and can't be raised, because they're what keeps your account safe. See Senders and safety.

We don't publish reply or meeting rates yet. FOUND is new, and an average from a handful of accounts would be a guess dressed up as a number.
