Tutorial 42-second tour, then every step

Watch FOUND go from your website to your booking link.

A silent tour of real FOUND screens, then each step written out: what you do, what the agent does, and where you stay in control. About a five-minute read.

FOUND's Edit signals window: seven families of buying signal, eight of fifteen in use for an agent aimed at VPs of Sales in the United States.

01Setup

Paste your website

Sign in with Google and type your website. FOUND reads it and writes a short brief: what you sell, the pain it solves, who buys it, and how the agent should talk. Most people change a line or two. Every message the agent writes starts from this brief.

If it can't read your site, the fields stay blank and it says why. It never guesses what you sell.

  • Pick a goal: Start conversations, or Book demos if you want every message to aim for a short call
  • Pick a tone: professional, conversational or direct
  1. Your companyThe brief from your website, corrected by you.
  2. SignalsWhat the agent watches, suggested from your site.
  3. Connect and previewYour LinkedIn account, then a real scan for your buyer.

Setup's four steps, as the app names them. Nothing is sent from Setup, and it keeps your place if you close the tab.

Choose what it watches

Signals are where leads come from. From your site, Setup suggests keywords people post and comment about, competitors whose followers engage, and room for one good customer as a lookalike seed. Keep, drop or add: an agent needs at least four signals and takes up to fifteen.

Later, the full editor opens seven families: engagement on your topics, with your market, with competitors and with your own brand, people like your best customers, buying events such as funding and job changes, and companies using a tool you pick.

The Edit signals window for an agent aimed at VPs of Sales in the United States, 8 of 15 signals in use: keyword engagement, people engaging with your market, companies and competitors engagement, people aware of your brand, people like your best customers, and buying events.

03Before you pay

See real leads, then decide

Connect your LinkedIn account on FOUND's own page. Your password passes through our server once, straight to our connection provider, and is never stored or logged.

Then run the preview: a real scan from your account, about two minutes, scored against your buyer. You see the people it found, each with the reason they're there, and the first message it would send the top one. The price sits beside them. Pay then, or save it for later: the agent waits, paused, with everything you set up kept.

Sometimes fewer than five people come back. That tells you something about your buyer, and you still haven't paid.

An agent that was set up and saved without paying: a bar across the top reads Set up and paused. Nothing runs until the agent is on. Everything you set up is kept. $69 a month, cancel any time, with a Start the agent button. Below, its signals: the keyword pipeline forecasting with 5 leads, and a competitor not scanned yet.

Read who it found, and why

Every six hours each agent runs one of its signals, taking them in turn. Everyone a signal surfaces is checked against your buyer twice: first on the headline, then on a full profile read with a scored judgement. Every lead that survives carries the line that explains it.

In review mode each person waits for you with the exact invitation they'll get. Approve them and it goes inside your next window; reject them and the agent never contacts them.

A lead waiting in Copilot: Maya Ortiz, Head of Revenue Operations at Acme Ledger, found by the signal pipeline reviews. Why them: commented on a post about pipeline reviews on Tuesday, and runs the RevOps team you sell to. Below, the invitation that goes to her once approved, at 10:00 on Friday 25 September.

05Ask

Ask for companies in one sentence

Describe who you want in your own words, for example fintech companies in London with 50 to 200 people and a head of sales. FOUND finds the companies and a person at each, checks every company against what you sell, and keeps the ones that fit.

It costs 1 credit per company plus 1 per contact, and 1 more per email if you ask for emails. The most it can cost is shown before it runs, and whatever it didn't use goes back. Up to 5 Asks a day, 50 companies each. Add the people it kept to a campaign in one click.

The Ask screen: a sentence box, 10 companies, a Find emails too option at 1 more credit per email found, and the warning Can cost up to 20 credits. Below, an earlier Ask for B2B fintech companies in London with 50 to 200 people and a head of sales: 6 companies, 4 kept, with their contacts, titles and a Strong or Plausible match, and one blocked by you.

Shape the sequence

A sequence has up to eight steps across LinkedIn and email: a connection invitation, then messages, profile visits and emails, days apart. A reply stops everything after it.

Each step is fixed text, a template, or written by the AI for each person. In a template, grey is what you typed and ember is the sentence the writer fills in from why that person was found, with a word limit on each. Follow-ups count from when they accept, not from when you sent.

The Sequence editor: 4 steps over 9 days. A connection invite with no note, an icebreaker, a follow-up and a closing message, each with its word limit, and the choice of Written by AI, Template or Fixed text.

07Control

Approve, or let it run

Review mode holds every invitation, message and email until you approve it. Edit anything first; an edited message is checked again before it can go. A message with a detail it couldn't fill in is held back for a fix, never sent with a blank.

Autopilot sends what's queued without asking each time, and still shows you the whole next window so you can edit or skip any of it.

The queue, waiting for your approval: an invitation to Maya Ortiz and a message to Tom Becker at Brightline Labs, marked Edited by you, each at 10:00 on Friday 25 September with Approve, Edit and Skip.

Let the pacing protect your account

Nothing goes out in a newly connected account's first 48 hours: leads today, messages from day three. Then sends land only inside your window, at least 90 seconds apart on LinkedIn and minutes apart by email.

A new account starts at 35 invitations a week and steps up to 70, 100 and then 125, each step only after two weeks with no failed sends, and never more than 25 in a day, Monday to Friday. A mailbox warms from 20 emails a day to 60. If LinkedIn pushes back, the agent steps down and waits. The limits are enforced in code and can't be raised.

Agent settings. Review mode: on for the LinkedIn account, off for the mailbox. When it sends: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00 on the account's own clock, at least 90 seconds between two LinkedIn sends; email every day 08:00 to 19:00, at least 8 minutes between two emails.

A reply lands, with your link drafted

The moment someone replies, their sequence stops. The conversation lands in one inbox for LinkedIn and email. Turn on AI draft replies in Settings and an answer drafted from your brief waits with it; when they're interested, the draft offers your booking link.

Use it, edit it, or write your own. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and replying yourself makes the thread yours: the agent never writes on it again. Add your booking link once, in Settings.

A conversation in the Inbox: Maya replied asking how the tool handles deals stuck in one stage, so the agent stopped. An AI draft answers her question and offers a short call with a booking link, with a Use draft button. Drafted by AI for you; nothing is sent until you press Send.

10Off by default

Or let the agent answer

The agent that answers replies is off by default. Switch it on thread by thread, or for new threads in the agent's settings. It answers in your name at a human pace, never instantly, and offers your booking link once they show interest.

Every answer shows when it will go out, with a Don't send button until then.

A thread where the agent is answering: Agent replies on this thread is switched on. Maya's question is followed by The agent's answer, marked Not sent yet, with a Don't send button and the note Goes out today at 20:33, at a human pace.

11Your call

Take back what it can't answer

When someone asks something only you can answer, the agent hands the thread to you and stays out until you hand it back. It never accepts or proposes a specific time: they pick one on your own booking page, and FOUND never touches your calendar.

A thread with Jonas Weber, Founder at Quillstack: The agent handed this to you because they asked something only you can answer. It stays out until you hand it back. Jonas asked what a setup looks like for a team of five, and the next message is from you.
